From the community history book, Our Harvest of Memories (1983)2 was gleaned these facts.

W. Alex Halliday was born 1885 in Smith Falls, Ontario, Canda, son of  Wellington and Caroline(?) Halliday and had at least one brother. He married Alice M. Ross of Prince Albert in 1909.

Children of Alex and Alice were:
i. William - passed away in infancy
ii. Harold - buried in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery
iii. Cecelia - married Gust Johnson, buried in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery
iv. Mabel - married Conrad Hammer
v. Betty - married Thomas Howrie
vi. George - was killed in France during World War II
vii. Albert - married Lil Yockey
viii. Leslie - married Vi Bucknel
ix. Ruth - married Alf Williams
 
Alice (Ross) Halliday died at age 56 years, 8 months, and 9 days. 

Alex Halliday died at age 87 years, 9 months, and 1 day.
